The timeless dice race (Saap-Seedhi). Climb the ladders, dodge the snakes, and be first to reach 100. Pure luck, pure fun — 2 to 4 players.

How to play

1. Everyone starts off the board. On your turn, tap the die to roll and move forward that many squares.
2. Land on the foot of a ladder to climb up to its top.
3. Land on a snake’s head and you slide down to its tail.
4. You must land exactly on 100 — if your roll would overshoot, you stay put and wait.
5. First player to land exactly on 100 wins.

Tips & strategy

• It's a pure dice race — there are no decisions to agonise over, so just enjoy the swings.
• Ladders near the start give the biggest early lead; the long snakes late in the board are the cruelest.
• You need an exact roll to finish — near 100, you may have to wait several turns for the right number.
