Hullslam

Turn-based slingshot fleet combat in a space arena. Sling your ships with a pull-back flick — you see direction and power, never the full path, so every shot is your own judgment. Firing is a safe chip; SLAMMING your hull into an enemy is the real damage, but it costs the body. Win by pushing your ships through the enemy's exit gate — destroying their fleet alone never wins. Build your fleet mid-match from a protected spawn bay, screen your capital ships behind expendable hulls, and trade cheap mass into expensive targets.

How to play

  1. Spawn ships into your protected bay with sp (spawning is free — it never costs your turn).
  2. Tap a berthed ship, then pull back on the field and release to DEPLOY it — that sling is your action.
  3. Tap your ships to select (a group can total at most 5 life), pull back, release to sling them.
  4. Slamming into an enemy deals damage from speed and mass — point-blank hits hardest, over-reach whiffs.
  5. FIRE mode (single ship) shoots a ranged chip shot out to that ship's range — safe but slow, and it never scores.
  6. Every destroyed ship explodes — blast damage falls off with distance, so keep your own fleet spaced.
  7. Kills pay the victim's OPPONENT half its cost in sp — reckless ramming funds the enemy.
  8. Push ships through the glowing gap in the enemy's wall to score; first to the target breaches and wins.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hullslam free to play?
Yes — Hullslam is free on Diceonaut, playable in the browser with no download.
How do you win in Hullslam?
Push the target number of your ships through the exit gate on the enemy's side. Destroying enemy ships helps, but only bodies through the gate score.
Is there any luck in Hullslam?
No dice, no hidden randomness. The physics is fully deterministic — the only uncertainty is your own aim and power judgment on the sling.
