Carrom

The classic flick-and-pocket board game, with multiple sub-games in one place. Position your striker on the baseline, pull back to aim and set power, and flick to pocket your coins in the corner pockets. Play Quick (clear your colour first) or Freestyle (pocket the most), online, vs the computer, or pass-and-play. Real disc physics — angles, rebounds and rests all matter.

How to play

  1. Slide your striker left/right along your baseline to position it.
  2. Pull back from the striker to aim — the further you pull, the more power — then release to flick.
  3. Pocket coins into the four corner pockets.
  4. In Quick, each player owns a colour (white or black) — pocket all of yours first to win; pocketing your colour lets you shoot again.
  5. Fouls (pocketing the striker, or pocketing an opponent's coin) return one of your coins to the centre and pass the turn.
  6. In Freestyle, all coins are neutral — pocket as many as you can; when the board clears, the most coins wins.

Frequently asked questions

What sub-games of Carrom can I play?
Quick (own a colour, first to clear yours wins) and Freestyle (all coins neutral, most pocketed wins) — pick the mode on the Carrom page. More variants (Points, Doubles) are being added.
How do I aim in Carrom?
Slide the striker along your baseline to position it, then pull back from it to aim and set power, and release to flick — like a real carrom board.
Is the Carrom physics realistic?
Yes — discs are simulated with real 2D physics (collisions, cushions, friction, corner pockets). Online, the server runs the simulation so results are authoritative and fair.
Can I play Carrom online?
Yes — online multiplayer, vs the computer, or pass-and-play on one device, free in your browser.
